APICOL and Directorate of AH & VS will set up Project Monitoring Unit (PMU) for working out the targets and region wise spread of the units in the State and for organization of Workshops/ Investment Campaigns/ Meetings etc. for implementation and monitoring of the Poultry development activities. The local entrepreneurs will be briefed about the Poultry Policy and encouraged for investment in the State. The PMU will also suggest NABARD for revision of unit cost based on the technology up-gradation and systems presently being followed. Suggestions received from the entrepreneurs shall be given sincere thought for implementation.
