Unauthorised person not to search for lost stores.—(1) No person, without the permission of the conservator, shall, in any port subject to this Act, creep or sweep for anchors, cables or other stores lost or supposed to be lost therein. (2) If any person offends against the provisions of sub-section (1), he shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one hundred rupees.
