(1) AU sums due to the District Board ~ s ~ t on account of rates, taxes, fees and other levies -t0f*a. imposed by it including the anears thereof and & other sums otherwise due to the Board on the date of repeal of the enactments specified in the Schedule may be recovered by the Government as though such sums were dues of Government. (2) The dues . speczed above shall, without prejudice to any other mode of recovery, be recoverable as arrears' of land revenue.
