'[(I)] The Government shall, by notificatbn, divide each district into such number of local areas as they deem fit. Each such area shall be known as a BIock and be given such name as may be s e e d in the said notification. 2[(2) Government may from time to time by notihation redebit any local area r e f d to ih sub-section ( I ) by- (i) excluding from.
