In these rules unless there is anything repugnant in subjecr, or context:- (a) "Commission" means the Orissa Public Service Commission: (r) 6(Committee", metns the Departmental Selection Committee constituted in oursuance uf rule I 3; (c) "Govern#nt" means the Government of Orissa; (d)'6Goverry,r" means the Governrrr of Orissa; (e)',Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes" means such castes and tribes as rnav be notified by the President of India under Articles 341 and 342, respectively of the Constitution of India; (J) "Service" means th!' Orissa Veterinary Service, Class-II and shall include the posts mentioned in Schedule-I. (g) '6state" means the State of Orissa; (/l) "Year" means a calcndar ycar.
