(a) Every candidate shall submit to the Secretary to the Commission his application in bis own bandwriting in the prescribed form, obtainable from the Secretary to the, Commission so as to reach him aot later than such aate as may be notified by tbe Commission in tbis behalf. 9 (b) ttith his application a candidate shall subbit:- (i) a treasury-chalan- showing- gl.yment gf.g suar'qf \s. 5 (Rs. _ 140 if a candidare belongs to any of the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes or Backward Classes ) credited to the Goieroncnt as application fee which shall not ordinarily be refunded; (ii) evidence that he possesses requisite qualifications as prescribed in rule 7 ; (iii) evidence ofage, which should ordinarily be the Matricrrlation or C;ambridge certificate; and (iv) certificate of charactcr from the Principal Project, Dean or Professor in charge ofa department of teaching _of the Co_llege in which he last studied and from-two respectable persons (nbt being relations) who are well acquainted with him/her in private life and are unconiected with his/hei College or Uhiversity career. Note:- Copies of Certificates and other documents, required u_nder items. (ii), (iii)and (iv) above duly attested by a Gazetted Ofrccr of Government should be submitted with the application bui the originals shalt be prodrrced at the time of interview. I l. The Commission shall considcr all applications received and shall interview such candidates as thev consider likely ro bc suitable for _appointment provided that Government, may, if they think fit appoint an omciai expert. to bc present at the intcrviews of candidates. The officer so appointed shall advii6 the Commission on thc fitness of the candidatcs with refercnce to the special qualifications required for the Service, but he will not be responsible for the selection of the candidatcs.
