(l) Every lioenoe granted to a weigher, sam· pier, or grader under section 23 shall be valid for such period as may be presc.ribed and may, on application and payment of the prescribed fee, be renewed from me to time for the prescribed period by the presori, bed authority. , • • • • • • • 35 (2) The prescribed authority may cancel any such licence, after communicating to the licensee the grounds on which it is proposed to take action and giving him a reasonable opportunity of showing ca.use against it, (3) The prescribed authority may, however, suspend a.ny such licence pending any action under sub-section (2).
