Disqualifications :- A person shall be disqualified for election, nomination or selection as member of any of the authorities of a University, if he: (a) is, at the date of election, nomination or selection, of unsound mind or deaf mute; or (b) is an uncertified bankrupt or un-discharged insolvent; or (c) has been convicted of and sentence by a criminal court to imprisonment for an offence involving moral turpitude; or (d) is being elected, nominated or selected consecutively for a second term. Explanation: For the purpose of this clause the expression "term" shall include "part of a term".
