The Commissioner and the other authorities under this Act shaIl have the 5 of 1908 same powers as are vested in n court under the Codc of CiviI procedure, 2908 while trying a suit, for the purpose of enforcing the attendance of, and examining, any pason on oath or afirrnation or for compelIing the production of any document.
