- S. 1(1) This Act may be called the Orissa Prevenliou of Dangerous Activities of and Communal Offenders Act, 1993
- S. 2In this Act, unlm the context otherwise requires,-
- S. 3The section empowers the government to detain communal offenders to maintain public order, with detention orders reportable to the government.
- S. 4Section allows detention orders for communal offenders to be executed anywhere in India under the Code of Criminal Procedure.
- S. 5Section 5 allows detention and transfer of individuals under a detention order to specified conditions and locations by the government.
- S. 6Section 6 ensures detention orders remain valid despite the detainee or detention place being outside the district magistrate's jurisdiction.

- S. 8Section 8 allows the government or District Magistrate to issue orders for absconding detained persons to appear before a Judicial Magistrate and imposes penalties for non-compliance.
