In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires (a) “Assistant Surgeons” means the Assistant Surgeons appointed to the Orissa Medical Service; (b) “Junior Teachers” means the Junior Teachers appointed to the Junior Teaching posts of the Service; (c) “Recruitment Rules” mean the Orissa Medical Education Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1979; (d) “Service” means the Orissa Medical Education Service; and (e) “Year” means the calendar year.
