(2) The officer authorised under sub-section (1) shall exercis general powers of inspection and supervision over the working of the jnstitution and the discharge of duties and performance of functions by the managing committee or, as the case m.ay be, the governing body of the institution. The managing committee or, as the case may be, the governing body and the employees of a recognised educational institution shall, at all reasonable times, be bound to afford to the aforesaid officer all assistance and facilities as may be necessary and reasonably required for the purposes of such inspection and supervision. (4) The managing committee or, as the case may be, the governing body of a recognised educational institution shall make every effort for the improvement or removal ofdeficiencies in the management of the institution iN accordance with the directions or suggestions given by the said officer.
