(1) Where in pursuance of section 115 or anceof 118 an Anchal Sasan or a Grama Sabha has become vested with the right to ‘collect land revenue, rents and cesses in the Anchal or Grama Panchayat area, the Anchal Sasan or Grama Panchayat, as the case may be, shall maintain a Rent-roll in the prescribed manner. (2) Uncontested mutation of entries in the Rent Roll shall be done by the Anchal Sasan or the Sarpanch of the Grama Panchayat, as the case may be, and contested mutations shall be referred for decision to such competent authorities as may be prescribed.
