When a distrainer may have reason to distrainer suppose that the property of a defaulter is lodged open doors within a dwelling-house, the outer door of which may 4presanee be shut, or within any appartments appropriated to officer. women, which, by the usage of the country are consi- dered private, such distrainer shall report the fact to the officer in charge of the nearest police- station. Thereupon the officer in charge of the station shall send a police officer to the spot, in the presence of whom the distrainer may break open the outer door of such dwelling-house, and also the door of any room within the house except the zenana.
