(1) The Board of Management shall consist of the following ok members, namely:— (a) the Vice-Chancellor of the University who shall be the ex officio President; (b) the Registrar of the University who shall be the ex officio Secretary; (c) the Finance Officer of the University; (d) two members of the Board of Governors, nominated by the Sponsoring Body; (e) three deans of the Unviversity; and (f) two Professors of the University. (2) The powers and functions of the Board of Management shall be such, as may be prescribed. o (3) The term of office of the members other than the ex-officio members shall be three years. The Academic 24.(1) The Academic Council shall consist of the following members, Fs namely:— (a) the Vice-Chancellor of the University who shall be the ex officio President; (b) the Registrar of the University who shall be the Secretary; and (c) such other members as may pe nominated by the Board of Governors. Proceeding not to be invalidated on account of vacancy. 18 (2) The Academic Council shall be the principal academic body of the University and shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, the Statutes and the Rules, co-ordinate and exercise general supervision over the academic policies of the University and shall exercise such other powers and perform such other functions as may be prescribed. (3) The term of office of the members other than the ex-officio members shall be three years.
