Upon reduction of the term of office of the rc,juclion CotlllciUors of the EI/Iul?icipal Councils by a dil-cct ion term Or issued under section 3,- ORICE. (0) the provisions, contained in sub-section (4) of section 41 of the Municipal Act shall apply to the said Municipal Councils, with, effect from the date of expjry of the term of office of the councillors thereof ; '[(b) the election or nomination, as the case mhy be,. of the councillors for reconsti- tution: of the. said Municipal Councils shall be held in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Act on such date, not being later than the 2[ 31st day of December, 7-978 ] as may be directed by the State Government ; and 1.
