( I ) This Act may be caned the Orissa Muni- short title, cxtcnt and cipaI C O U ~ ~ C ~ ~ S (Reduction of term of Office), Act, 1977. ,,,,,,,, mcnt. (2) It shall extend lo the whole of f he State of Orissa. i (3) It Shall be deemed to have come into force on the 22nd August, 1977.
