Delegation of power by Executive Officer :– (1) The Executive Officer of a municipality with the sanction of the Chairperson may delegate by general or special order to a servant of the municipality to exercise under this control any power conferred on or delegated to him under this Act. (2) An order by the Executive Officer under sub-section (1) may specify any condition and impose any restriction in respect of the exercise of any power. (3) Any order passed by an officer or servant of the municipality in exercise of a power conferred on him under sub-section (1) shall be liable to rescission or revision by the officer who conferred the power.
