Quorum and adjournment for want thereof :– (1) No business shall be transacted at any meeting of the Municipality, unless such meeting has been called by the Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson 1[* * *] or under Section 64 by persons signing a requisition and unless a quorum be present. (2) A quorum shall be in any municipality in which the Councillors are not more than fifteen, five; and in any other municipality a number being not less than one-third of the entire number of Councillors: Provided that in cases where the whole number of Councillors is not evenly divisible by 3, the one-third shall be ascertained by taking the number of next above the whole number, which is evenly be divisible by 3 as the number to be divided. (3) If at the time appointed for a meeting, or within half an hour thereafter quorum is not present, the meeting shall stand adjourned to some future day to be
