The municipality may undertake construction, repair and maintenance of Government buildings :– It shall be lawful for the municipality from time to time to undertake on behalf of the Government concerned and on such conditions, as may be agreed upon, the construction, repair and maintenance of any public building or other work which is the property of the Government. Provided that the cost of such construction, repair or maintenance shall be defrayed by the Government concerned.
