Delegation of powers by State Government :– The State Government may by notification authorise any person or authority to exercise in regard to any municipality, any one or more of the powers vested in them by this Act, except the power to make rules or alter Schedule, the power to determine contributions payable and the power to sanction prosecution under Section 376 and may in the like manner withdraw such authority.
