Inspecting and superintending officers of municipality :– (1) It shall be the duty of the State Government and such officers or authorities as they may authorise to see that the proceedings of municipality are in conformity with law and rules in force thereunder. (2) The State Government may appoint such officers as may be required for the purpose of inspecting or superintending the operations of all or any of the municipality established under this Act.
