Form of licences, notices and permissions :– (1) All licences, notices and permission given, issued or granted as the case may be, under the provisions of this Act must be in writing. (2) Every licence, permission, notice, summons or other document, which is required by this Act or by any rule or regulation or bye-law under it to bear the signature of the Chairperson, Executive Officer or of any officer of municipality shall be deemed to be properly signed, if it bears facsimile of the signature of the Chairperson or the Executive Officer or of such officer, as the case may be, stamped thereon. (3) Nothing in sub-section (2) shall be deemed to apply to a cheque drawn upon a Municipal Fund or to any deed or contract entered into by a municipality.
