Provision of slaughter-houses :– (1) The municipality shall provide a sufficient number of places for use as public slaughter-houses. (2) The municipality may charge rent and fees for the use of public slaughter- houses at such rates as it may think fit. (3) The municipality may farm out the collection of such rents and fees for any period not exceeding three years at a time and on such term and condition as it may think fit. 124 THE ORISSA MUNICIPAL MANUAL
