Objects not provided for by this Act :– The State Government or any local authority may, at any time with the consent of the municipality transfer to them the management of any institution or the execution of any work, not provided for by this Act and it shall thereupon be lawful for the municipality, to undertake the management of such institution or the execution of such works; Provided that in every such case the funds necessary for such management or execution shall be placed at its disposal by the State Government or by the local authority concerned.
