The State Government to prescribe minimum closing balance :– The State Government may prescribe– (a) the minimum closing balance to be maintained by a municipality; (b) the minimum expenditure to be incurred by a Municipality on Public Works, Medical and Public Health; (c) the Statements, accounts and reports to be submitted to the State Government.
