( I ) Ttie Orissa Legislative Assembly Speaker's and Deputy Speaker's Salaries ,Act, 1937 in so far as or. A C ~ IV it relates to the Deputy Speaker is hereby repealed. 1937h (2) Notwithstanding such repeal any allowanoe paid or payable for the upkeep of a car, any charges incurred for medical treatment, any payment made by way of travelling allowance or daily alIowance or for purchase of a motor car under any Iaw or rule for the time being in force before the date of cornmenoernent of this Act. shall be deemed to have been validly paid, payable or inmrred or made.
