For removal of doubts it IS herebydeclaredthat notwithsanding the repeal of Removal of the said Regulation an enactments specified in the Schedulethereto which were in force doubts. immediately prior to the commenccment of this Act in the areascomprising the district as defined in the said Regulation; shall continue in force in the said areas untill altered or repealed, or amended by a competent legiSlature qr ccmpetent authority.
