Members of the Board and members of staff of the Board to be public servants.- Members of the Board and the staff of the Board shall be deemed, when acting or purporting to act, in pursuance of any of the provisions of this Act, to be public servants within the meaning of Section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (XLV of 1860). 1[33A. Recovery of dues. - Where any loan, advance or assistance granted by the Board to any institution or person is not repaid before the date specified therefor, the Board may, without prejudice to any other mode of recovery, issue a certificate for the amount due, to the Collector of the district who shall proceed to recover the amount in the same manner as an arrear of land revenue.]
