User of public is a dominant factor to determine the status of a deity :– Though there being long usages and acceptance that general public were visiting a temple and offering/ performing pujas and also participating in procession and daily pujas which clearly raises strong presumption that the deity is a public one. During Jagara Yatra the villagers also used to visit the temple. However, the records shows and also there being no evidence that villagers used to visit the temple everyday and participating in all the functions of the deity.
