Vacancy not to invalidate proceedings :– No act or proceed- ings of the Grama Sasan or Palli Sabha or of the Grama Panchayat or any of the Committees shall be deemed to be invalid by reason merely of the existence of any defect in the Constitution of the Grama Sasan or Palli Sabha or of the existence of any vacancy in or defect in the constitution of the Grama Panchayat or any Committee thereof, or any vacancy in the Office of the Sarpanch or Naib-Sarpanch, or by reason of any defect, error, omission or irregularity in the Election or Nomination of the Sarpanch, Naib-Sarpanch or any other member of such Grama Panchayat.
