Result of criminal proceeding not to affect the order of confiscation :– 27 THE ODISHA EXCISE ACT, 2008 The result of criminal proceeding, either acquittal or conviction or otherwise, under the provisions of this Act, will have no bearing on the order of confiscation passed under this Act.
