Employment of children or women by licensed venders :– (1) No person who is licensed to sell foreign liquor or India made foreign liquor for consumption on his premises shall employ or permit to be employed either with or without remuneration, any person under the age of eighteen years, in any part of such premises in which such liquor is consumed by the public. (2) No person who is licensed to sell country spirit shall employ or permit to be employed, either with or without remuneration, any person under the age of eighteen years, in any part of the premises in which such spirit is sold. (3) No person who is licensed to sell foreign liquor or India made foreign liquor for consumption on his premises shall employ or permit tobe employed, either with or without remuneration, any woman in any part of such premises in which such liquor is consumed by the public . (4) The State Government may, by notification, declare that Sub-section (3) shall apply also, in any specified area, to persons licensed to sell country spirit for consumption on their premises. (5) Every permission granted under Sub-section (3) shall be endorsed on the 13 THE ODISHA EXCISE ACT, 2008 licence, and may be modified or withdrawn .
