Submission of details of property for forfeiture :– (1) The Collector or any other Officer authorized by the State Government, in this behalf, shall submit details of the property of the persons mentioned in Section 99 alongwith an application to the Competent Authority within a period of one year from the date of Judgment for forfeiture. (2) If the Collector or the Officer authorized under Sub- section (1) has reason to believe that such illegally acquired property is likely to be concealed, transferred or dealt with in any manner which will result in frustrating any proceeding relating to forfeiture of such property, he may make an order for seizing such property and, where it is not practicable to seize such property he may make an order that such property shall not be transferred or otherwise dealt with except with prior permission of the Competent Authority and a copy of such order shall be served on the person concerned and to the concerned Regional Transport Authority in respect of motor vehicles and Registration Officer in respect of immovable properties. (3) The Collector or the officer authorized as aforesaid, as the case may be, shall submit a copy of the order issued under Sub- section (2) to the Competent Authority within a period of two working days of its issue and such order shall cease to have effect after of sixty days from its issue unless it is continued by the Competent Authority within the said period.
