Power to make rules

Power to make rules. - (1) The State Government may, by notification, make rules to carry out its functions under the provisions of the Act. (2) In particular but without prejudice to the generality of the power contained in Sub-section (1), such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely : (a) the procedure to be adopted by the selection committee for discharge of its functions under the Act; (b) the preparation and implementation of the transfer schemes, the transfer of assets to generating companies, licensees and others in the State; (c) the financing, funding and giving of guarantee to persons involved in the generation, transmission, distribution and supply of electricity in the State; and (d) any others matters which is required to be or may be, prescribed by rules. 36
