(1) There shall be a Board of Studies for each branch or discipline of study or branches of study as the Academic Council may decide. (2) The constitution, powers and functions of the Board of Studies shall be such as may be prescribed in the Statutes. 26.(1) The Finance Committee shall consist of the following members, namely:- (y) the Vice-Chancellor of the University who shall be the ex officio Chairman; (z) the Registrar of the University who shall be the ex officio Secretary; (aa) the Finance Officer ; and (bb) such other members as may be nominated by the Board of Governors. (2) The Finance Committee shall be the principal financial body of the University to take care of the financial matters and shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, Statutes and the Rules, co-ordinate and exercise general supervision over the financial matters of the University and shall exercise such other powers and perform such other functions as may be prescribed.
