Members and employees of the Authority to be public servants- All members, officers and employees of the Authority. the members .of the Advisory Council and committees and all other persons entrusted w1th the execution of any function under this Act shall be deemed, whe~ acting o~ purporting to act in pursuance of this Act or the rules or regu~at 1 ons made thereunder, to be public servants within the meaning of Section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (45 of 1860).
