(1) The Government may, after previous Power 10 publication, make rules* for carrying out aU or any ''IES. of the purposes of this Act. (2) In particular and without prejudice .to the generality of the foregoing powers, they may mnke rules in respect of all or atiy of the matters expressly required or allowed by this Act to be pres- cribed. (3) In making rules uqder this section the Govern- . ment may provide that a breach,of any.of the rule shall be an offence punishable with fine which may extend to two hundred fifty rupees. (4) All rules made under this section shall be laid before -the Legislative Assembly as soon as possible after they are made for a total period of fourteen days which may be comprised k one or more sessions and shalI be subject to such modi- fications as the Assembly may. make during the said period.
