Subject to the provisioos'of this Act, the statutes' may provide for a1I ,or any of the following matters, namely :- {a) the - constitutions, function and powers of the Faculties, Board of Studies, Finance Committee, other authorities of the University and such other bodies as may be declared to be authorities of the Unlversi tY ; (6) the method of recruitment, condition of .service, powers 'and duties of the officers, teachers and other employees of the University ; (c) the conferment of honorary degrees ; (d) the award of degrm, diplomas, titles, certificates and other academic distinction8 ; (e, .the withdrawal of degrees, diplomas, ccr tificatej and other academic distinctions ; Cr) the institution .of fellowships, schokrshjps, studentships, exhibitions, medals and prizes ; . (g) the p'rocedure to be followed at aeetings of authorities of the tJn-iversity including the quorum for the transaction of business by them; (h) the classiEat ion of teachers of the University ,and other cmployeesi ( i ) acceptance and management of bequests, donations. and endowments; (j) the &ant of afliliation to institutions; fi] recognition of examinations of other Universitiw or educational Institutions as equivalent to the emamhations of the UniycfaiQ; , Prowdwo for making Stam. Rules. ( 1 ) fees to be charged for the courses of studies in the University and for admission to the examinations, degrzes and diplomas of the University; ( t j conditions relating to the award of fellowships, scholarships, studenbhlp, exhibitions, medals and prizes; \ (n) conduct of examinations, including the term6 of ofice, manner of appoint- ment and the duties of examinat~on bodics, examiners and moderators; (0) supervision of students cngaged - in research and special s t u d i ~ in constituent or a6Iiated institutions; (p) fee to be charged for the service rendered by the Univetsily; and (q) any other matters which require to be or may be prescribed under this Acl or by the Statutes.
