On extension of the term of office of the Councillors of the Balugaon Notified Area Council by a direction issued under section 3,- (a) the provision contained in sub-section (4) of section 41 of the Municipal Act shall apply to the said Notified Area Council, with effect from the date of expiry of the term of office of the Councillors thereof; (b) the election or nomination, as the case may be, of the Councillors as for reconstitution of the said Notified Area Council shall be held in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Act on such date, not being later than the 14th day of September, 1988 as may be directed by the State Government; and (c) the Notified Area Council so reconstituted shall, for all purposes, be deemed to have been constituted under and be governed by the provisions of the Municipal Act and rules and notifications made there under.
