(1) The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith contained in any other law for the time being in force or any custom, usage or agreement or decree or order of a court, tribunal or other Authority. (2) Save as otherwise provided in sub-section (1), the provisions of this Act, shall be in addition to and not in derogation of, any other law for the time being in force. 37 (1) For the removal of doubt, it is hereby declared that the provisions of the Transfer of Property Act, 1882, shall in so far as they are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, apply to every apartment together with its undivided interest in the common areas and facilities appurtenant to such apartment as those provisions apply in relation to any immovable property, and the provisions of this Act shall take effect, notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any contract.
