Right or access to certain protected monuments. - (1) Subject to such rules as may, after previous publication, be made by the State Government, the public shall have a right of access to any monument maintained by the State Government under this Act. (2) In making any rule under Sub-section (1) the State Government may provide that a breach of it shall be punishable with fine which may extend to twenty rupees.
