Notwithstanding anything contained in the Education Act or in the Rules of Regulations framed thereunder, Hindi Teachers of Aided High Schools appointed by the respective Managing Committees of such Schools on or after the 1st January, 1985 but not later than the 31st December, 1991 without the recommendation of the Selection Board as required under the Education Act, who have completed at least one year of service as such with or without break or breaks having the requisite qualifica tions and are continuing as such, shall, for all intents and purposes, be deemed to have been validly and regularly appointed, and no such appointment shall be challenged in any court of law merely on the * Published vide Orissa Act 36 of 1991 The Odisha Gazette EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. Date : 7th January 1993 Short title Definitions Validation Orissa Act 15 of 1969 2 ground that such appointments were made otherwise than in accordance with the procedure laid down in the Education Act and the Rules and Regulations framed thereunder: Provided that the validation of appointments as aforesaid shall not put persons: (i) appointed as Hindi Teachers of Aided High School is during the period between she 1st December, 1976 and the 31st December, 1991 on the recommendation of the Selection Board; or (ii) whose appointment as Hindi Teachers in Aided High Schools were validated prior to the commencement of this Act, in a disadvantageous position in any manner whatsoever.
