(1) This Act may be called The Newspaper (Price and Page) Act, 1956. (2) It extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir. [x x x x] Sub-section (3) providing five years' duration to the Act was omitted by Act 36 of 1961 (05/09/1961).
