Section 5

Disqualification for office of member

A person shall be disqualified for being nominated, or, as the case may be, elected as and for being a member of the Board or the Executive Council referred to in section 11,- (a) if he has been convicted and sentenced to imprisonment for an offence which involves moral turpitude; or (b) if he is an undischarged insolvent; or (c) if he is of unsound mind and is so declared by a competent Court; or (d) if he has such financial or other interest in the Board as is likely to affect prejudicially the discharge by him of his function as a member.
