(1) This Act may be called the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions Act, 2004. (2) It extends to the whole of India [x x x x]. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 11th day of November, 2004. Omitted by Act 34 of 2019. Prior to the omission it reads "except the State of Jammu and Kashmir"
