(1)This Act may be called the National Airports Authority Act, 1985. (2) It shall come into force on such date 1 as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. (3) It applies to-- (a) all aerodromes whereat domestic air transport services are operated or are intended to be operated, other than-- (i) aerodromes to which the International Airports Authority Act, 1971 applies; and (ii) aerodromes and airfields belonging to, or subject to the control of, any armed force of the Union; (b) all civil enclaves; and (c) all aeronautical communication stations. Came into force on 21/05/1986 vide Notification No. S.O. 301(E), dated 21st May, 1986.
