Every Area Council shall be a body corporate by the name of the Area for which it is constituted and shall have perpetual succession and a common seal, and shall by the said name use and be used through its Chairman with power to acquire, hold and dispose of property both movable and immovable and to contract and to do all other things, necessary for the purpose this Act.
