In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context (a) “Leader of Opposition” means a member of the State Legislative Assembly, who is for the time being, the leader in the State Legislative Assembly of the party in opposition to the ruling Government having the largest and required numerical strength and recognised as such by the Speaker of the Assembly.
