Short title, extent and commencement. (1) This Act may be called the Rules for the Administration of Justice and Police in Nagaland (Third Amendment) Act' 1984. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Nagaland. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint and - different dates may be appointed for different provisions of the Rules contained in this Act. Provided that the State Government may apply the provisions contained in Chapter IV A of the Act or part thereof with such supplemental, incidental or consequential modifications as may be considered necessary and specified in the notifications issued in that behalf and published in the Official Gazette either to the whole or any part of the State of Nagaland at one time.
